| Compliant Pin Insertion Tools

For those who occasionally need to insert pressfit components and don't want to make an extra trip to the Contract Manufacturer (or pay the tooling charge), a custom insertion tool is a handy tool to have in the lab. An insertion tool for any compliant pin component can be made and just requires a standard bench vise to apply the force.

| BGA Socket Extraction Tool

To enhance functionality of a complex design, a BGA component was removed and it's site was used to introduce a daughter or "interposer" card through the use of a BGA socket. Due to the size and shape of the daughter board and the surrounding components, design of a custom extraction tool was required to remove the interposer.
